Laughter Is The Best Medicine
As an Irish friend of mine says: "A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctors’ book."
Humour plays an important role in human life and, therefore, can play a significant role in communication. The quality of being humorous and a little funny at the time when you should be is one of the greatest qualities helping you to maintain positivity during tough times.
Life always brings challenges that make you feel overwhelmed. In those cases, a good laughter can help you to overcome all those obstacles and makes your life more enjoyable. And life is too short to be taken so seriously that we shouldn't laugh at the absurdities presented daily.
With humor we lighten up each day, and we find common ground with others. We build healthy relationships with others by knowing what to say and to do that helps, and what hinders, a conversation. We discover that we are not alone, we learn to accept our mistakes, and we look for the good in others and in our selves.
A good sense of humor, from a health point of view also, is very important, as it keeps you happy, energetic and optimistic, laugh stress, away lower blood pressure, burn calories, reduce pain, increased hope, optimism and vigor.
When you have a sense of humor, you look at the bright side of life. You have a beautiful smile, don't forget to laugh!!
